USO
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Unidentified Speech Object is a puzzle game inspired by games like "Captain Blood'' and "Papers Please", that asksyou to translate and answer the requests of aliens through quirky interfaces rewarding quick play, language, and pattern learning.
After a rough journey through the stars, you get stranded on an alien world without a way back. To repair your spaceship and get home, you get a small job at an information center. The problem being that you don't speak the local language. Given a Dictionary and a computer, your task is to guide other space travelers in their own touristic journey in space.
Tutorial
- Get a new Customer with a request, translate the message with the help of the Dictionary.
- After translating that request, find the wanted information through the computer's interfaces.
- Translate that information into alien language with the dictionary and type it out on the keyboard.

Developement
- This game is the end of the first year group project at LISAA Games Paris that lasted two weeks. On this project, after figuring out with the different designers the different challenges presented to the player, the flow of the game, and scope of the project, most of my work was mainly on documentation.
I got to learned Adobe XD to create the basic wireframe of the UI and prototype a fully operational prototype of the interface in the software. At the same time, I created content for the different menus and kept the Game Design document up to date with the other game Designers.
In the Download section below, you can take a look at the Game Design Document (be advised its in French only) and the Adobe XD document with the prototyped user interface.
